Treasured Morning is carefully crafted in our boutique commercial kitchen in Taranaki. Made in small batches, our cereal is made by hand with ingredients that are as inspiring as they are delicious. Here’s how our creations come together!

Nutrient dense and delicious

Treasured Morning is a unique breakfast cereal. We’ve focused on crafting a superior nutritional product you need to live a life you treasure. I believe breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It’s essential for living a life filled with energy, excitement and curiosity. That's why we've made it our mission to create a breakfast that is as nutrient-rich as it is delicious.

As a result, our Superfoods look different to most other breakfast cereals on the market. Our unwavering commitment to creating a product you can trust lies in using quality nutrient-dense ingredients, even if it means our products may appear different from the rest.

Hidden within its grainy, crumbly texture are whole foods, protein, healthy fats, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Once out of the bag, our mixture takes on a beautiful golden hue, adding more than just nutrients to your morning bowl of yoghurt or freshly cut fruit! 

Every batch is free from artificial additives, preservatives, flavours, sweeteners, puffs and fillers. I’ve taken care to find ingredients that provide nourishment and are proven to fuel your body. From nuts, hemp hearts, hemp powder, and freeze-dried fruits, every component is selected with utmost care to create a nutrient-packed breakfast option that fuels your day and makes your tastebuds sing!

Using the finest ingredients

As a small business, supporting other local artisans is central to our ethos. Our ingredients are sourced from as close to home as we can muster. In 2022, we switched our protein source from free range egg whites to hemp protein and hemp hearts. The team at Hemp Connect Levin oversees the entire hemp process from paddock to pantry. They’re also free from pesticides, additives, preservatives, and synthetic flavours. We’re excited to work with a local supplier that supplies a premium product as the basis of our Superfoods.

Crafting mouth-watering flavours is an integral part of our beliefs! I'm a firm believer in creating nourishing foods that taste delicious. I take pride in sourcing only the highest quality, natural ingredients.

Premium freeze-dried ingredients are at the heart of our Superfoods, and we’ve dedicated time to the careful formulation of flavours that keep our customers satiated and coming back for more! We’ve sourced berries, nectarines, peaches, apples from Fresh As, giving our Superfoods a more complex flavour profile.

Sustainably sourced ingredients

I also source our natural sweetener, Manuka honey, from Egmont Honey. Sourcing local suppliers is so important to the ethos of Treasured Morning. Not only do our suppliers know all about the production chain of their foods, but I’ve also chosen suppliers for their commitment to quality. Our almonds are sourced from Australia where the warmer climate leads to higher quality almonds and an overall better product!

You’ve probably noticed by now that our ingredients are sourced as close to home as possible, without compromising quality. Keeping our supply chains local allows us to focus on crafting a sustainable product as well as prioritising freshness. Our small batch and handmade approach to crafting Treasured Morning. My mission was always to create a breakfast cereal that would help people reach their potential every day. Our artisan approach might take longer than other products, but I believe it’s worth it. My heart and soul goes into each product because it’s what I eat for breakfast too. Every stage of the process comes together to deliver a breakfast that’s higher in energy, tastes great and is accessible for busy people.
